Writer: Mushka ZlatáMushka Zlatá

I am so excited that we are slowly moving into spring. In the Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is home of the element of Wood. The Yin energy of Winter and Water is gently transforming into more dynamic Yang. Spring is a celebration of life. The Tao teaches us :

" Honour and love every form of life, including one's own"

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE NATURE

The Sun returns back to bring nourishing energy, days are longer and everything became more active. It is a time of renewal, reborn, growth and expansion. The time where new cycles of life begin. The nature is awakening, we hear the birds singing, feel the plants and trees to bloom, we feel the spring in the air. Spring is a time of love. We see all animals mating and cuddling. Aslo we humans are feeling this vibrant energy of love and the need to be more social. It is a time of magics, where potentiality manifests. As the seeds buried there under the layer of snow, sprouted spontaneously from the darkness. In springtime breaking the hard shell to push against all obstacles, makes its path upward towards the sky – where it becomes what its meant to be – it is that will for life, courage and instinct which determinate our purpose of the life.

WHAT DOES THE WATER ELEMENT TEACH US

Shedding winter layers, letting go of all unwanted. And welcome the opportunity to begin again. Use increased energy to move your body, start to do new activities or knowledge. We have an unlimited field of potentiality. As the little seed contains essence to become a tall and strong tree, element of wood. Unlock your willing power to fulfill your dreams and purpose. Wood allows us to be rooted in the past, however, to stand tall in the present with a clear vision and energy and courage to take action for change.

MERIDIANS OF WOOD ELEMENT

Liver and gall-bladder are organs of the wood element. They are responsible for metabolic processes and energy transformation while detoxing and regulate the blood in the body. After a long winter they are overloaded as we tent to eat more and more heavy meals. To restore the harmony we shall now focus on detoxification and purification, which can be addapted to your yoga practise, our diet and mind. According to TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) regulates liver a home of our soul and chi energy.

WHEN BALANCED

We are strong, flexible, warm and generous. One acts with kidness and compassion. Aslo seeking to growth and expand. Strong visions and confidence to reach the goals.

WHEN OUT OF BALANCE

Missing vision of purpose of life or goals can show up as flustration leading to anger and mild to middle depression. The person can be inpatient.
